The hypocrisy surrounding doping, clubs and sponsors should also be condemned.

Everyone condemns it, but all athletes use in one manner or another! I am talking about the doping.

When an athlete is controlled positive, the stone is thrown at him. Then his club and his sponsors, outraged by this unacceptable behavior, drag him through the mud, revoke his contracts, and fire him. Yes but now, why do athletes dope? Not for pleasure! These are the same clubs and sponsors which always want more, putting pressure on their athletes, asking superhuman performance, again and again!

Without being an expert, everyone must be well aware of what is being asked and expected from athletes and see that this is NOT humanely possible! Playing 2 or 3 matches per week, training every day, always pushing further the limits of the human body, this is simply not possible. Add to this that they are constantly put in competition with others, and blackmailed for results. So it is not surprising that some athletes(if not many!) give in to the temptation of doping.

So of course the athletes who dope are the first responsible but clubs and sponsors should also be at the bench of accused . Why is this not the case? These clubs and sponsors are the first to benefit from doping!

Of course sponsors are aware of doping, and they benefit from it. To get their name shown, they need athletes who are beating records, and always pushing the limits further.

I'm sure they are aware of it, too. If they are not providing the drugs, they are certainly providing the funds. In the end, it's the same thing.

Indeed. Sponsors, and Medias are pushing athletes to achieve constantly higher performances. They are responsible of the doping too.

Passing the hot potato to each others... This is always the fault of someone else.
