Isn't the Prometheus film extremely lazy?
I just watched Prometheus, from Ridley Scott. Yes, I know I am late! This film left me totally appalled! Isn't this film and its story totally empty? Did I blink and miss something important? The story doesn't tell anything! It's just stuffed with a series of unexplained and unrelated artificially-made-mysterious elements. I think some of the ideas are great and were exciting, but it's so poorly exploited! It looks like an episode of a TV series, where they keep adding mysteries to arouse the desire to see the next episode, excepting that here, there is nothing coming next! I thought, may be a second or more films were planned to complete the plot. In that case, it could have lead to something really great. I went online and read a bit more, and discovered that, no sequel is, or has ever been, planned and that it was made to be only a one shot story? WTF? At the end it sounds like we are going to seek for these extra terrestrials creatures and their motivation, but in fact it has never been planned to do so! And why is there a Xenomorph (alien) in the middle of this?
I say it out loud LAZY LAZY LAZY.

S., I had a very hard time enjoying this film. The visuals were fine in my opinion, but the story, I felt like what? What? What? It was like they filmmakers were trying to make us happy by stuffing in all the things we loved in the previous Alien films, but with a very shaky story. I ended up being dissatisfied and depressed.

I'll recommend you to watch Alien: Covenant, I don't want to spoil it to you, but this will certainly change your perception and appreciation of Prometheus.
