No, really, what was going through the mind of God the day he created flies, I wonder! Explain to me in which way they are useful? I know that in the Nature, everything has a place and role, but what the hell are flies made for? Have they been created just to annoy me??
I always take great care to keep my house clean, and without garbage, but still, when spring is coming, flies are visiting, and then turn round, zooming over and over and over again like insane little bombers, and this is making me crazy! And even if they look like they are stuck inside, and you open the window to push them away, of course they don't leave! And continue to zip around my head over and over!!!

Chloe, summer is here, and I am wondering the same! Flies, mosquitoes, and all those flying silly bugs which go insane as soon as they see a light! -sHs

Ha, ha, Chloe, I don't know what to answer to this, but I thought it was too funny the way you said it.
Now, to try to sound smart, I would say that anything on earth has a reason to be; even if this reason is escaping us.

I think that flies are contributing to the decomposition / degradation of organic mater (dead animals/insects, fecal mater, etc...), so in a way they recycle this kind of organic mater. But most of all, they are whole part of the food chain. Birds, as well as all kind of lizards, frogs, etc... are eating flies. In wet lands, flies are the basis of the food chain.
Get rid of flies, and you can have a dramatic consequence all along the food chain, right up to us.

Spring is coming, so do flies! I hate them too. I can't think of anything more annoying than flies.
