How is it possible that developers cannot release video games full of blatant bugs? I mean seriously, nowadays, we have a path to fix "some" of the biggest bugs, right on the day of the release of the game!
Don't tell me this is because games have become ultra sophisticated and harder to make, because that is a bullshit excuse. I am not talking about drivers or compatibility problems on PC, that is different, I am speaking about real clumpy programming, and bugs which are popping, not even in exceptional cases.
And have you ever read the credits of these games? There are hundreds of names, of "Quality test" guys. What did they test, to miss so many bugs?! The quality of the title page?
So now, each time you buy a said to be triple-A game, the summit of the excellence, as soon as you insert the disk, the console is starting to down a patch, of several gigabytes! And no matter the speed of your connection, a lot of simultaneous downloading is taking down the publisher' servers! I just made the experience with "Batman: Arkham Knight", 22 hours to download the 3.5GB patch, with a 50 Mbs/ connection!!! You're kidding me? It's sure that with hundred of thousands of people who bought it, and are downloading the patch at the same time, it clogs the pipes!
Worse, when you buy and download a game, why does it still need to be patched?! Why don't they proposed the fixed version right away?!
The Internet was great to remotely fix bugs in games, but it 's now making developers lazy!
