*Beware of spoilers*
I am not against the idea, that lead characters are being killed in movies or TV Series. From the moment it serves the story, that's fine for me. However, I don't always find it good, the way they get ride of some of the characters in The Walking dead. Just to take recent examples, the death of Beth and Tyreese. Okay, the death of Beth is unexpected, but honestly I don't see the point? I don't even find the interest for the story. It makes it seems like the few preceding episodes were pointless, considering the result. Same for Tyreese. Why get ride of this character now, and in these circumstances? I always thought Tyreese was an enigmatic character, and I always thought that, at a moment or another will learn in which way he was "special", or more about his past. Now, he appears to have been just a random character... slightly disappointed. More generally, I find that they are wasting some of the characters. Like Michonne.

They are killing too many of the original group!! It is a downer, and also, it means that they are ultimately doomed, if this points to the entire groups dying. It doesn't matter if they are continuing to be replaced by others. They will still all die one by one. They will all become extinct.
