When I see the amount of ineptitude and errors that abound in TV news and newspapers, I really wonder if the journalists behind it ever went to school! It can range from partially inaccurate information, to that which is completely wrong ! Do they ever verify what they are saying/writing? And for sure, they missed geographical classrooms! Each time they try to be pedagogic and use maps to explains things, there is always mistakes! They can't even place countries correctly!!! Are they playing darts when it comes to place name of cities on a map? Seriously, Miss South Carolina Teen USA, was right about the need of maps for people out there in our nation...
Also, it makes me laugh, when journalists quote their sources, and say... Google, Twitter, or Facebook! As if what you read on social networks can be trusted!
And about the Internet, News sites are a joke! My ten years son writes better!
So really, when one becomes a journalist, is it because he has failed everything else?!
